Book 2 OF NIKODEMUS SERIES SUBMITTED

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the manuscript for “Shape of Fire” has been submitted for publishing.

In this installment the mage Markmor, along with two Necromancers continue to plot against Senator Mike Rollins.  The man that must be the next president according to the soothsayer.  NIkodemus, a Seeker, stands in their way.  That and the FBI and Secret Service.

Necromancers have no problem using people.  Using them up.  The Egyptian Necromancer is called “Nefernefernefer”.  She may be the oldest living being on earth.  She coordinates a shift in strategy.  Going after personnel peripheral to the senator.  With varying degrees of success.

Her actions cause a shift in location.  To a fortified house at Possum Kingdom Lake.  Nikodemus , the FBI and the Secret Service hope that cameras and sensors can protect the Senator from their adversaries.

Fourth of July approaches.  Senator Rollins has purchased a yacht to enjoy the festivities.  Possum Kingdom contains a feature called “Hell’s Gate”.  It is called this because the water is over a hundred feet deep.  Unusual in a fresh water lake.  On the fourth, hundreds of boats anchor all day and enjoy fireworks that are launched from the fifty foot high cliffs that enclose the “gate”.

Knowing where your target is going to be on a certain day could be all that Nefernefernefer needs to accomplish her task.   Nikodemus is getting help.  From a variety of sources.  Will it be enough?
